Brighter Futures South West is a private practice which provides specialist and bespoke therapeutic and psycho-educational interventions and support services for children, young people and adults as well as working with whole families.

Established in 2005, we have a long established professional and caring reputation in providing effective and evidenced based solutions on behalf of statutory services, schools, community and voluntary groups as well as directly to the public.

We are a ‘Trauma Informed’ practice and we understand the impact of developmental trauma and problematic behaviours on the person(s) concerned and their families; and the challenges these present, not just to the families but also to others outside of the family, such as health, education and support services.

We specialise in providing tailor-made interventions and support for fostering and adoption families as well as providing interventions, solutions and risk reduction where there are child protection concerns.

We currently provide our services within Plymouth and surrounding areas, the South Hams and East Cornwall.
